The TPS3803G15 device has a fixed-sense threshold voltage VIT set by an internal voltage divider, whereas the TPS3803-01 has an adjustable SENSE input that can be configured by two external resistors. In addition to the fixed sense threshold monitored at VDD, the TPS3805 devices provide a second adjustable SENSE input. RESET is asserted in case any of the two voltages drops below VIT. During power on, RESET is asserted when supply voltage VDD becomes higher than 0.8 V. Thereafter, the supervisory circuit monitors VDD (and/or SENSE) and keeps RESET active as long as VDD or SENSE remains below the threshold voltage VIT. As soon as VDD (SENSE) rises above the threshold voltage VIT, RESET is deasserted again. The product spectrum is designed for 1.5 V, 3.3 V, and adjustable supply voltages. The devices are available in a 5-pin SC-70 package. DCK PACKAGE (Top View) TPS3803-01, TPS3803G15, TPS3805 (1) Component qualification in accordance with JEDEC and industry standards to ensure reliable operation over an extended temperature range. This includes, but is not limited to, Highly Accelerated Stress Test (HAST) or biased 85/85, temperature cycle, autoclave or unbiased HAST, electromigration, bond intermetallic life, and mold compound life. Texas Instruments recommends that all integrated circuits be handled with appropriate precautions. Failure to observe proper handling and installation procedures can cause damage. ESD damage can range from subtle performance degradation to complete device failure. Precision integrated circuits may be more susceptible to damage because very small parametric changes could cause the device not to meet its published specifications. (2) Eco Plan - The planned eco-friendly classification: Pb-Free (RoHS), Pb-Free (RoHS Exempt), or Green (RoHS & no Sb/Br) - please check http://www.ti.com/productcontent for the latest availability information and additional product content details. TBD: The Pb-Free/Green conversion plan has not been defined. Addendum-Page 1 PACKAGE OPTION ADDENDUM www.ti.com 22-Feb-2012 Pb-Free (RoHS): TI's terms "Lead-Free" or "Pb-Free" mean semiconductor products that are compatible with the current RoHS requirements for all 6 substances, including the requirement that lead not exceed 0.1% by weight in homogeneous materials. Where designed to be soldered at high temperatures, TI Pb-Free products are suitable for use in specified lead-free processes. Pb-Free (RoHS Exempt): This component has a RoHS exemption for either 1) lead-based flip-chip solder bumps used between the die and package, or 2) lead-based die adhesive used between the die and leadframe. The component is otherwise considered Pb-Free (RoHS compatible) as defined above. Green (RoHS & no Sb/Br): TI defines "Green" to mean Pb-Free (RoHS compatible), and free of Bromine (Br) and Antimony (Sb) based flame retardants (Br or Sb do not exceed 0.1% by weight in homogeneous material) (3) MSL, Peak Temp. -- The Moisture Sensitivity Level rating according to the JEDEC industry standard classifications, and peak solder temperature.
