DESCRIPTION
The PS2561A-1 is an optically coupled isolator containing a GaAs light emitting diode and an NPN silicon
phototransistor to realize an excellent cost performance.
The PS2561A-1 is in a plastic DIP (Du al In-line P ackage) and the PS256 1AL-1 is le ad bending t ype (Gull- wing) for
surface mount.
The PS2561AL1-1 is lead bending L1 type and the PS2561AL2-1 is lead bending L2 type (Gull-wing).

(4) Cautions
• Fluxes
Avoid removing the residual flux with freon- based and chlorine-based cleanin g solvent.
2. Cautions regarding noise
Be aware that when voltage is applied suddenly between the photocoupler’s input and output or between
collector-emitters at startup, the output transistor may enter the on state, even if the voltage is within the absolute
maximum ratings.
USAGE CAUTIONS
1. Protect against static electricity when handlin g.
2. Avoid storage at a high temperature and high humidity.
