The PSOTxxLC series are ultra low capacitance transient voltage suppressor (TVS) arrays, designed for power or data
line applicaons that provide protecon against ESD, terary lightning and switching transients. This series oers low
clamping voltage for the protecon of sensive components.
The PSOTxxLC series has a peak pulse power of 500 Was for an 8/20µs waveshape and is available in a SOT-23 pack-
age conguraon. This series meets the IEC 61000-4-2, 61000-4-4 and IEC 61000-4-5 requirements.

Two PSOTxxLC devices used in parallel. Circuit connecvity is as follows:
I/O Line connected to Device 1, Pin 1.
I/O Line connected to Device 2, Pin 2.
Device 1, Pin 2 connected to ground.
Device 2, Pin 1 connected to ground.
Device 1 and 2, Pin 3 not connected.

Circuit board layout is crical for electromagnec compability protecon. The following guidelines are recommended:
The protecon device should be placed near the input terminals or connectors, the device will divert the transient current
immediately before it can be coupled into the nearby traces.
The path length between the TVS device and the protected line should be minimized.
All conducve loops including power and ground loops should be minimized.
The transient current return path to ground should be kept as short as possible to reduce parasic inductance.
Ground planes should be used whenever possible. For mullayer PCBs, use dedicated ground planes
