The STw5098 is a dual, high-quality stereo codec with
headphones and hands-free amplifiers. It is dedicated to
mobile phones supporting several audio sources (modem,
digital audio such as MP3 or gaming, Bluetooth, FM radio,
etc.) and performing complex audio flows.
The two available I2S/PCM digital interfaces - one per
master -enable concurrent audio and voice flow between
the network and user. With the STw5098, the audio
capabilities of your mobile are no longer restricted.
For example, it allows you to record yourself singing, while
at the same time enabling your sister to talk to her friends.

The STw5098 is a dual, low-power asynchronous stereo audio
codec device with headphone amplifiers for high-quality audio
listening and recording. It allows simultaneous utilization
of audio applications, enabling different users to share
the same mobile phone.
The STw5098 has multiple analog mixable inputs and outputs.
It drives stereo headphones directly, without external capacitor
and has a loudspeaker driver that can also be used for
monophonic group listening. Stereo differential and
single-ended microphones, auxiliary line in stereo and mono
signals can be mixed and connected to the ADCs or directly
to the drivers, and also mixed with DAC audio signals.
