NOT E S :
1. 236,237,238 - E xternal res istor (to program time delay) or jumper (for
built-in timing) must be connected to terminals 8 & 9.
2. 237 models require an external control s witch between terminals 5 & 6.
3. 238 s witches contacts when input power is applied and s tarts timing.
C ontacts switch back to original position at end of timing cycle. P ower must
be removed to reset timer. If input power is interupted during the timing
cycle, timing ends immediately and the relay res ets.
4. Dielectric withs tanding voltage tes ting of the C ontrol circuit may damage
the solid s tate components.

The S eries 236, 237 and 238 T ime Delay R elays
consist of a standard 219 industrial relay and a s olid s tate timing
module to provide delayed transfer of relay contacts after
application of power or activation of control switch. The
relay and timing module are enclosed in a flame res is tant
polycarbonate cover.
