The high gain output stage features an open collector output providing both lower output saturation voltage and higher speed of operation than is possible with conventional photo-darlington type coupler. The minimum CTR of 200% at an input current of 0.5mA makes it ideal for use in a low input current applications such as MOS, CMOS and low power logic interfacing or data transmission systems.
