These fundamental mode-suppressing crystal resonators are designed to selectively suppress the fundamental oscillation mode of third-overtone crystal resonators to ensure overtone oscillation. The resonators enable an oscillation circuit without a tuning coil to produce overtone-frequency oscillation, simplifying circuit configuration and enabling adjustment-free operation and system downsizing. Thanks to our design expertise, these products suppress spurious components in overtone oscillation along with the fundamental mode, and can be used safely without frequency jumps due to spurious components in overtone oscillation.
