AFL delivers new low-cost
dual-window wideband
coupler for multiple
telecommunications
applications.
AFLs Dual Window Broadband Coupler (WBC) splits or
combines optical power simultaneously in two wavelength
regions while maintaining a very broad operating
bandwidth in both. The WBC’s low insertion loss capability
provides for excellent optical power splitting in all applica-
tions. By splitting optical power, the wideband coupler
allows multiple customers to be serviced by a single trans-
mitter. The compact size of the AFL Dual Window WBC
allows for packaging in confined spaces.
AFL has the capability to custom design a variety of
packages to meet your telecommunications needs.
