These materials can be found in different colours and with different additives and different fibres to change their
properties such as Flame retardant, Anti-static additive, UV- stabilised.
Homopolymer polypropylene has a better tensile strength an
d a higher temperature resistance than the HDPE
but lower impact strength. Copolymer has a higher impact strength than the homopolymer b
ut it has a small
reduction in other properties. It is used generally for applications, which have
colder conditions.
