AGIGARAM® is a new class of non-volatile memory developed

to meet the need for higher-performance persistent memory

for enterprise-class storage and server applications. By

combining industry-standard DRAM and NAND Flash technology,

AGIGARAM provides the low latency and nearly innite endurance

of DRAM, along with the non-volatility of Flash.

During normal operation, AGIGARAM appears to the host

system as a standard JEDEC DRAM memory module. In the

event of an unexpected power loss, the critical data residing in

the DRAM is saved to onboard NAND Flash using a battery-

integrate easily into the DIMM slots of industry-standard server

and storage platforms, providing the fastest possible persistent

memory for use cases such as write caching, metadata storage

and other in-memory computing applications.

the “hot” data can be held in the SSD.

BATTERY-FREE BACKUP

AgigA Tech has pioneered the use of a battery-free power source based on ultracapacitor technology

for NVDIMMs. Ultracaps are more reliable and perhaps more importantly degrade more predictably

than batteries. Ultracaps also do not require maintenace and do not have any hazardous material

or safety concerns. All AgigA Tech products utilize ultracapacitors that have gone through rigorous

reliability and accelerated life testing at AgigA Tech’s reliability test lab, which has been running ultracap

testing continuously for over 6 years.
