Fiberoptic Cable Assemblies
Standard, Master,
Polarization Maintaining
JDS Uniphase fiberoptic cable assemblies are
manufactured and tested to the most rigorous
industry standards, and their optical and
mechanical performance meets Telcordia and
IEC specifications. They are available in most
fiber and cable styles, including 900 mm to
3.0 mm cable. The cable assemblies are
manufactured with LC, FC, SC, and/or ST1
connectors in either angled or non-angled
versions. Custom cable assemblies in special
lengths and/or connectors are also available.
JDS Uniphase also provides industry-recognized,
high-performance reference cable assemblies
(master jumpers). These assemblies are
manufactured with dimensionally optimized
ferrules and fibers to provide very low insertion
loss.
Polarization maintaining (PM) cable assemblies
are terminated with FC and/or SC connectors in
either angled or non-angled versions. These
products provide superior insertion loss,
extinction ratio, and return loss performance. PM
assemblies are manufactured with Panda Fiber
and are available with customer-specified axis
alignment, operational wavelength, and cable
outer diameter (900 mm tubing, 900 mm tight
buffer, or 3.0 mm).
