Speichermodul tauschen
Der Aus-/Einbau eines Speichermoduls in die Regelungsbaugruppe ist wie folgt durchzuführen:
1. Legen Sie die “alte” und “neue” Regelungsbaugruppe auf eine EGB-gerechte Unterlage
(links die Frontplatte).
2. Drücken Sie die Rasthebel des Speichermoduls nach außen bis sie ausgerastet sind (siehe
Bild unten).
3. Ziehen Sie das Speichermodul aus der Steckverbindung (nach oben weg).
4. Setzen Sie das alte Speichermodul in die “neue” Regelungsbaugruppe.
Die Rasthebel müssen dabei automatisch einrasten.
5. Überprüfen Sie, ob die Rasthebel richtig eingerastet sind.

Optionsmodul tauschen
Der Aus-/Einbau eines Optionsmoduls in die Regelungsbaugruppe ist wie folgt durchzuführen:
1. Stellen Sie einen spannungsfreien Zustand für die Regelungsbaugruppe her.
2. Lösen Sie die Schrauben am Einbauplatz und ziehen Sie das Optionsmodul aus der “alten” Rege-
lungsbaugruppe.
3. Schrauben Sie an der “neuen” Regelungsbaugruppe die Blende am Einbauplatz für das Options-
modul ab.
4. Schieben Sie das Modul durch die Frontplatte bis es einrastet.
5. Schrauben Sie das Modul fest (2 Schrauben auf der Frontplatte, max. Drehmoment = 0,8 Nm).
6. Verdrahten Sie wieder die Frontplatte des Optionsmoduls entsprechend Ihrem Anschlussplan.
Die Gegenstecker stecken auf der entsprechenden Schnittstelle.
Das Aus-/Einbauen eines Optionsmoduls darf nur in spannungsfreiem Zustand erfolgen.
Das Ziehen oder Stecken eines Optionsmoduls unter Spannung kann zu Datenverlust
oder zur Zerstörung von Komponenten führen.
Beim Ein-/Ausbauen des Optionsmoduls sind die EGB-Maßnahmen zu beachten.

2Replacing the option module
The option module is withdrawn/inserted into the control module as follows:
1. Ensure that the control module is in a no-voltage condition.
2. Release the screws at the mounting slot and withdraw the option module from the “old”
control module.
3. On the “new” control module unscrew the cover at the slot for the option module.
4. Insert the module through the front panel until it latches into place.
5. Tighten the module retaining screws (2 screws on the front panel, max. torque= 0.8 Nm).
6. Re-connect the front panel of the option module according to your connection diagram.
Insert the mating connector at the appropriate interface.
The option module may only be withdrawn/inserted in the no-voltage condition.
If an option module is drawn or inserted under voltage, this can result in data loss or
components being destroyed.
The ESDS measures must be observed when inserting/withdrawing the option module.

Replacing the memory module
The memory module is withdrawn/inserted into the control module as follows:
1. Place the “old” and “new” control module on an ESDS-compliant surface
(left, the front panel).
2. Press the latch of the memory module downwards until it releases (refer to the Fig. below).
3. Withdraw the memory module from its socket (upwards).
4. Insert the old memory module into the “new” control module. The latch must automatically
engage.
5. Check that the latch has correctly engaged.

Remplacer la carte optionnelle
Marche à suivre pour le remplacement d’une carte optionnelle dans la carte de régulation :
1. Mettre la carte de régulation à l’état hors tension.
2. Défaire les vis de fixation de la carte optionnelle, et l’extraire de “l’ancienne” carte de régulation.
3. Détacher sur la “nouvelle” carte de régulation le cache obturant l’emplacement de la carte
optionnelle.
4. Engager la carte optionnelle dans son emplacement, jusqu’à son encliquetage.
5. Fixer la carte optionnelle (2 vis en face avant, couple max. = 0,8 Nm).
6. Rétablir les connexions en face avant de la carte optionnelle conformément au schéma
de branchement.
Les connecteurs conjugués sont enfichés sur les interfaces correspondantes.
Le débrochage/embrochage de la carte optionnelle doit se faire obligatoirement à
l’état hors tension.
Le débrochage ou l’embrochage d’une carte optionnelle sous tension peut conduire
à une perte de données ou à la destruction de composants.
Lors de la manipulation de la carte optionnelle, respecter les règles pour ESD.

Remplacer la barrette mémoire
Marche à suivre pour le remplacement de la barrette mémoire dans la carte de régulation:
1. Poser “l’ancienne” et la “nouvelle” carte de régulation sur une surface antistatique
(face avant tournée vers la gauche).
2. Repousser vers le bas et vers l’extérieur les leviers d’encliquetage pour libérer la barrette
mémoire (voir figure ci-dessous).
3. Extraire la barrette mémoire de son connecteur (vers le haut).
4. Replacer l’ancienne barrette dans la “nouvelle” carte de régulation.
Les leviers d’encliquetage doivent s’encliqueter automatiquement.
5. Vérifier l’encliquetage de la barrette mémoire.

1. SimoCom U beenden.
2. Legen Sie von der Textdatei “...\siemens\lists\control.txt” im Hauptverzeichnis von SimoCom U (in
der Regel unter “C:\Programme\Siemens\SimoComU”) eine Sicherungskopie an.
3. Dann diese Datei mit Microsoft Wordpad (nicht mit einem Texteditor!) öffnen.
4. Folgende Zeile unter dem Abschnitt “611U” aufsuchen, bzw. letzte Zeile dieses Abschnittes:

8. SimoCom U neu starten und mit Punkt . fortfahren.
Note on ”Replace control module” point
The following measures must be taken before loading the machine data if a “older” 611U control
module is to be replaced by a new” 611U control module with increased encoder resolution
and if no SimoCom U V5.1 or higher is available:
1. Terminate SimoCom U.
2. Make a backup copy of the text file “...\siemens\lists\control.txt” in the main directory of SimoCom U
(usually stored under ”C:\Programs\Siemens\SimoComU”).
3. Open this file using the Microsoft Wordpad (not with a text editor!).
4. Search for the following line in the paragraph ”611U” resp. the last line of this paragraph:

5. Insert the following lines directly below:

Remarque concernant le “Remplacement de la carte de régulation” point
Si vous voulez remplacer une carte de régulation 611U “ancienne” par une carte de régulation 611U
“nouvelle” à résolution de capteur élevée et que vous ne disposez pas de SimoCom U V5.1
ou supérieure, il faut prendre les dispositions suivantes avant de charger les paramètres machine:
1. Quitter SimoCom U.
2. Créez une copie du fichier de texte “...\siemens\lists\control.txt” dans le répertoire principal de
SimoCom U (en règle générale sous “C:\Programme\Siemens\SimoComU”).
3. Ouvrir ce fichier avec Microsoft Wordpad (pas avec un éditeur de texte!).
4. Rechercher la ligne suivante dans le chapitre “611U” ou la dernière ligne de ce chapitre:

8. Redémarrer SimoCom U et poursuivre au point
Hinweis:Auf dem Optionsmodul PROFIBUS-DP muss die zur 611u Firmware dazugehörige
PROFIBUS-Firmware vorhanden sein. Ansonsten muss eine Firmwarehochrüstung durchge-
führt werden. das Optionsmodul PROFIBUS-DP1 ist ab SW 4.1 und auch in diesem Fall nicht
mehr einsetzbar.
Note: The PROFIBUS firmware required for 611U must be stored on option module PROFIBUS-DP.
Otherwise, you must upgrade the firmware. The option module PROFIBUS-DP1 can no
longer be used as from SW 4.1 nor in this case.
Nota: Le firmware PROFIBUS correspondant au firmware 611U doit exister sur la carte optionnelle
PROFIBUS-DP. Si ce n’est pas le cas, il faut réaliser une mise à niveau du firmware.
A partir de la version de firmware V4.1, la carte optionnelle PROFIBUS-DP1 n’est plus
utilisable (une mise à niveau n’y change rien).
