Life Test: After 2000 hours at + 85C with rated DC voltage applied, or after 1000 hours at + 125C. with derated DC voltage*, capacitors shall meet the requirements in table below. (*only for 499D) 1. Operating Temperature: - 55C to + 85C with rated DC voltage UR applied. + 85C to + 125C with linear voltage derating to category voltage UC for 499D only (see general information) 2. Capacitance and Tolerance: Capacitance measured at 100Hz and + 25C shall be within the specified tolerance limits of the nominal rating. Capacitance measurement shall be made by means of a polarized capacitance bridge. No polarizing voltage is required. The maximum voltage applied during measurements shall be 0.5 volt rms at 100 Hz and + 25C.
