Model 3862 New Contact Spring Design
As a follow up to the previous update issued in October 2009, Sensors and Controls Product Line is
pleased to announce the qualifi cation and fi nal release of our Model 3862 panel control with a new
contact spring design.
As previously announced, our carbon contact supplier had been purchased by another company,
and had subsequently ceased production of the carbon contact thereby prompting Bourns to
redesign the contact to a metal spring.
Production is now underway with back orders being fi lled on a priority basis. For those customers
requiring qualifi cation data and/or samples for evaluation, please contact your local Bourns Sales
Representative.
