Fairchild Semiconductors Semiconductors Linear I.C.s - Voltage Comparators LM 111 Series CONNECTION DIAGRAM Voltage Comparators _S GENERAL DESCRIPTION The 111 and 311 are monolithic, low input current voltage comparators, each constructed using the Fairchild Planar epitaxial process. The 111 series operates from the single 5V supply used for integrated circuit logic to the standard +15V operational amplifier supplies. The 111 series is BALANCE| intended for a wide range of applications including driving lamps or relays and switching voltages up to 50V at currents as high as 50mA. The output stage is compatible with RTL, DTL, TTL and MOS Jogic. The input stage cUrrent can be raised to increase input slew rate. TOP VIEW See outline drawing No. 97 for dimensions. They are also designed to operate over a wider range of supply voltages: from standard +15V op amp supplies down to the single 5V supply used for IC logic. Their output is compatible with RTL, OTL and TTL as well as MOS circuits. Further, they can drive lamps or relays, switching voltages up to 50V at currents as high as 50mA. Difterentiat input voltage range: +30V Power consumption: 135mW at +15V Both the inputs and the outputs of the LM111 series can be isolated from system ground, and the output can drive loads referred to ground, the positive supply or the negative supply. Offset balancing and strobe capability are provided and outputs can be wire OR'ed. Although slower than the LM106 and LM710 (200 ns response time vs 40 ns) the devices are also much less prone to spurious oscillations. The LM111 series has the same pin configuration as the LM106 and LM710 series. MANUFACTURERS CURRENT LIST PRICES ARE ALWAYS CHARGED 1002
