applicable to cell phone designs that integrate
802.11b/gWLANinthe2.4-2.5GHzband.Matched
to50onallRFports,thepartrequiresnoadditional
RFmatchingcomponentsoff-chip.
TheantennaportisswitchedbetweenWLANtransmit,
WLANreceive,andBluetoothpathswithalow-loss
single-pole triple-throw RF switch. The transmit
pathPAexhibitsunparalleledlinearityforbothIEEE
802.11b/g/nWLANsystemsunderthetoughestsignal
congurations within these standards. The WLAN
receivepathfromtheantennaporttoreceiveroutput
portprovidesalownoise,high-gainpathtothesystem
receiverchain.
The positive slope power detector is temperature-
compensated on the chip, enabling a single-ended
output voltage with excellent accuracy over a wide
range of operating temperatures. TheAWL6254 is
