Raptor - a new SMD
antenna achieving
extraordinary accuracy in
GNSS applications
Antenova introduces the Raptor antenna,
part no. SR4G053, a brand new antenna
enabling incredibly accurate positioning in
the GNSS bands.
This small antenna can pin-point a location
to within centimetres. The huge
improvement in accuracy is achieved by
utilising the L2 1200 satellite band, which
is newly available for civilian applications.
With this unique antenna, Antenova has
achieved the precision of a larger, ceramic
patch antenna in a compact SMD part
which can be used in small electronic
devices.
The Raptor antenna uses cell phone data
and will be useful for all GNSS navigational
devices - mapping, positioning and
tracking applications.
