Product Description
VITA25K CMOS image sensor delivers 5120 x 5120 resolution with a high sensitivity, 4.5 µ m x 4.5
4.5 µ m pixel size featuring pipelined global shutter capability. VITA25K integrates a programmable
offset and a programmable gain amplifier that are common for all channels. Each channel runs at 620
Mbps resulting in a frame rate of 53 fps at full resolution. Higher frame rates can be achieved using
windowed or subsampled readout modes. Settings of the sensor are programmable over the Serial
Peripheral Interface (SPI). All internal exposure and readout timings are generated by an on -chip
sequencer. The sensor also works in a rolling shutter mode with Correlated Double Sampling (CDS)
to reduce noise and increase dynamic range. The VITA25K sensor contains 32 LVDS high -speed
outputs that enable the transfer of image data over a standard industry protocol TIA/EIA -644 A at
low power and low noise.
