JCAUTION
ItemExamples
PowerSupply
Do notimpose an excessivevoltage on the E2EL,otherwiseit
mayexplode orburn.
Do notimpose24VACon anyE2ELmodel,otherwiseitmay
explode orburn.
Load short--circuit
Do notshort--circuit the load,orthe E2ELmayexplode orburn.
The E2EL’s short--circuitprotection function is valid,if the polarity
of the supply voltage imposed isincorrectand withinthe rated
voltage range.
Wiring
Besuretowirethe E2EL and load correctly,otherwiseitmay
explode orburn.

Installation
PowerResetTime
The ProximitySensorisreadyto operatewithin 100 msafter
poweris supplied.Ifpowersuppliesareconnected tothe
ProximitySensorand load respectively,be suretosupplypower
tothe ProximitySensorbeforesupplying powertothe load.
PowerOFF
The ProximitySensormayoutputa pulsesignalwhen itisturned
off. Therefore, itisrecommended toturn off the load before
turning off the ProximitySensor.
PowerSupplyTransformer
When usingaDC powersupply, makesurethat the DC power
supplyhasan insulated transformer.Do notuseaDC power
supplywith an auto--transformer.
Sensing Object
MetalCoating:
The sensing distance of the ProximitySensorvarywiththe metal
coating on sensing objects.
Wiring
High- tension Lines
Wiring through MetalConduit
If there a powerorhigh--tension line nearthe cord of the
ProximitySensor,wirethe cordthrough an independentmetal
conduit to preventagainstProximitySensordamage or
malfunctioning.
CoreTractive Force
Do notpull cordswiththe tractiveforce exceeding the following:
pull force(N)=20 x cable diameter(mm)
Mounting
The ProximitySensormustnotbe subjected to excessiveshock
withahammerwhen itisinstalled,otherwisethe Proximity
Sensormaybe damaged orlosethe water--resistivity.
Environment
Water-Resistivity
Do notusethe ProximitySensorunderwater,outdoorsorinthe
rain.
Operating Environment
Besureto usethe ProximitySensorwithin operating ambient
temperaturerange and do notusethe ProximitySensoroutdoors
sothatitsreliabilityand life expectancy can be maintained.
Although the ProximitySensoriswater resistive,acoverto
protect the ProximitySensorfromwaterorsolublemachining oil
isrecommended sothatitsreliabilityand life expectancy can be
maintained.Do notusethe ProximitySensorin an environment
withchemicalgas(e.G., strong alkaline oracid gasesincluding
nitric,chromic,and concentrated sulfuricacid gases).
