The newly developed filter fan design serves three functions:
!Easy mounting for axial fan
!High air flow
!High EMI screening: numerous integrally molded contact springs hinder
electromagnetic interference fields originating from within the cabinet or
penetrating from outside.
The self-adhesive seal of the mounting frame prevents dust and water from
entering the cabinet.
A spring contact strip on the EMI version additionally forms a continuous
conductive connection between the cabinet cut-out and the mounting frame.
The necessary cut-out in the cabinet is effectively sealed against high frequency
radiation directly on the line of the cabinet wall.
The functional design of the intake and exhaust fan hoods very effectively
prevents direct infiltration of falling water and dust.
Air channeling makes the filter fan particularly quiet in operation.

STEGO's new filter fan is easily connected and installed
from outside the cabinet.
1 When using the EMI version, only the cut edge of the
cabinet opening must be paint-free.
The advantage: quick and reliable removal of the paint
layer and no damage to the cabinet sides.
2 Remove protective film from the sealing strips on the
mounting frame and press into the cabinet opening.
The frame stays permanently in the cabinet.
3 Electrically connect the axial fan using the clip
connectors and push the unit into the mounting frame.
Affix using screws.
4 Insert the filter mat in the hood. Clip hood on. Finished.
