Description
The Amphenol E Z 5015 ser ies combines all the advant ages
of a standard MIL-C-5015 industrial connector with the
simplicity of spring cage terminations commonly found in
terminal b locks.
No special skill nor specific tool required for cable
assembly.
Onl y a st an dard screwd river (2,5mm / 3/32 inch ) is req u ired
to terminate the cable to the connector.Cable assembly can
take less than 30 seconds f or 4 contacts .
The EZ 5015 series is met all ic wit h either th read or bayon et
coupling and t wo s ealing options : IP55 or IP67.
The EZ 5015 20-4 has 3 contacts of 20 A and one First
Mat e Last Break Grou nd con tact , op tion al y g round ed t o th e
shell.
This series is intermateable with all MIL-C-5015 20-4
connectors from any oth er source.
Sp ring cag e termination avoid s l ead wh ich is u sed t o sold er
trad ition al con tacts. This conforms to RoHS directives.
Br oad range of wir es acc ept ed, up to 2,5 mm 2 (AWG 14) .
Th e plug is c onnected on the r ec ept acl e with a thread or
bay onet c oupling which allows both a tactile and auditive
mating confirmation.
