Soft magnetic sheets designed to efficiently
suppress a wide range of high frequency
radiation noise generated in various electronic
equipment. They can serve as excellent EMC
suppressors of high frequency noise difficult to

Merely inserting EMI filters in the power line is
sometimes not completely effective in reduc-
ing the susceptibility of electronic equipment
to external noise. For example, high frequen-
cy signals may enter directly through the
equipment case. In such cases, Tokin Data
Line Filters, utilizing Tokins own high-grade
ferrite materials, can be applied directly to
signal or data lines to help reduce noise
susceptibility.

EMI / EMC Filters for Telephone Sets
With increasing broadcast output
and with new broadcasting equipment
going into use, electromagnetic wave
interference in telephones has recently
become a serious problem. In addition,
the rapid proliferation of electronic and
digital telephones causes a corre-
sponding decrease in the immunity
against electromagnetic wave interfer-
ence. We need to find new ways to deal
with the negative influences of electro-
magnetic waves.
Following extensive research into mag-
netic materials and noise suppressors,
Tokin has developed and standardized a
noise filter that features high frequency
characteristics for residential telephones.
This noise filter is useful as a noise sup-
pressor for telephone signal lines and
prevents FM/AM radio and TV broadcasts
from interfering with telephone service. It
also prevents unwanted radiation noise.
Note: Rated voltage: 50V DC.Test voltage: 500V DC, one minute. Insulation resistance: min. 10 M(250V DC).Temperature range: -20˚C to +75˚C.
