MWH SERIES
The MWH series waveguide horn antennas are linearly
polarized, have 13 - 17 dB gain, uniform E and H plane patterns,
and low VSWR . They ar e ideal as an accurate and p rac tical
mic r owave antenna gain s tandar d. The p hysi cal dimensions
of each antenna are designed to taper from a standard
waveguide size, through a flared section, into free space w ith
minimal losses. Anechoic chamber and free space
measurements are accurately performed using these horns as
the primary radiators. MWH horns are available with and
w ithout l ow VSWR w av egui de to coaxi al adapter s. Preci sion
Typ e N f em ale or SMA f em ale connectors ar e used f or horn
antennas operating below 18 GHz and Type K connectors are
used for antennas operating above 18 GHz. Coaxial-to-
waveguide adapters for MWH series horn
antennas are detachable and mate to standard
waveguide flange s.
