This LPS4012 series of low profile
shielded power inductors is de-
signed with PDAs, wireless phones,
digital cameras and other hand-
held products in mind.
These inductors have exceptionally
low DCR and exceptional current
handling capability for parts this size.
They are available in 27 values from 0.28 µH to 3.3 mH.
The specially designed cover completely protects the
windings and provides the best possible surface for
pick and place handling.
Parts shown in bold are stocked for immediate deliv-
ery. Other parts are special order. For free evaluation

1. When ordering, please specify tolerance and packaging codes:
LPS4012-682MLC
Tolerance: M = 20% N= 30%
(Table shows stock tolerances in bold.)
Packaging: C =7 machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic
tape (1000 parts per full reel).
B= Less than full reel. In tape, but not machine ready.
To have a leader and trailer added ($25 charge), use
code letter C instead.
D=13 machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic
tape. Factory order only, not stocked (3500 parts per
full reel).
2. Inductance tested at 100 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc.
3. Tolerances in bold are stocked for immediate shipment.
4. DCR measured on a micro-ohmmeter.
5. SRF measured using Agilent/HP 8753ES or equivalent.
6. For inductance values 10 µH, DC current at which the inductance drops
20% (max) from its value without current. For inductance values <10 µH,
DC current at which the inductance drops 30% (max) from its value
without current.
7. Storage and operating temperature range 40°C to +85°C.
8. Electrical specifications at 25°C.
