1. General description
The 74LVC1G19 is a 1-of-2 decoder/demultiplexer with a common output enable. This
device buffers the data on input A and passes it to the outputs 1Y (true) and 2Y
(complem e nt ) whe n th e en ab le (E ) input signal is LOW.
Inputs can be driven from either 3.3 V or 5 V devices. The s e fe at ur es al low th e use of
these devices in a mix ed 3.3 Vand 5 V environment.
This device is fully specified for partial power-down applications using IOFF. The IOFF
circuitry disables the outpu t, preventing the damaging ba ckflow current through the device
when it is powered down.

[1] The input and output voltage ratings may be exceeded if the input and output current ratings are observed.
[2] When VCC = 0 V (Power-down mode), the output voltage can be 5.5 V in normal operation.
[3] For SC-88 and SC-74A packages: above 87.5 C th e value of Ptot derates linearly with 4.0 mW/K.
For XSON6 package: above 118 C the value of Ptot derates linearly with 7.8 mW/K.

the Absolute Maximum Ratings System of IEC 60134) will cause permanent
damage to the device. Limiting values are stress rating s only and (proper)
operation of the device at these or any other conditions above those given in
the Recommended operating conditions section (if present) or the
Characteristics sections of this document is not warranted. Constant or
repeated exposure to limiting values will permanent ly and irreversibly affect
the quality and reliability of the device.
