Description of Change to the Customer:
Reason for Revision: Add Additional Product(s)
Intel will be converting all of their components marked with the former Intel® logo, to the
new mark shown below. Intel has done a best effort to ensure we’ve correctly identified all
affected components, however it is possible that we have missed some of our newer products
that were launched during this transition. Please note customers should be prepared to
accept both product marks.
In January of 2006 Intel announced the introduction of the new brand
logo to be used by all products sold by Intel. This notification is to
announce the implementation plans for the new Intel logo change for
"Components" products and how it impacts customers. Over the next few
months Intel will be replacing the former Intel dropped “e” marking
with a new marking. Customers will begin seeing the new product mark
as shown in the picture below.
Customers may begin receiving a mix of old Intel logo and the new Intel
product marks within a shipment until depletion of all pre-conversion
material.
Customer Impact of Change and Recommended Action:
Intel anticipates no impact to form, fit, function, or reliability of
any of the products affected by this change.
Customers may want to notify their receiving departments of the new
product mark change.
