General Des cription
The Teccor Electronics line of thyristor SCR semi-conductors are
half-wave, unidirectional, gate -controlled recti fiers whic h com p le-
ment Teccor's line of sensitive SCRs. Teccor offers devices w ith
ratings of 1-70 amps and 50-800 volt s, wit h gate sensi tivities
from 10-50 m illia mps. If gate curre nts in the 12-500 micr oamp
ran ges are require d, plea se consult Tec cor's sensi tive SCR tech-
nical data sheets.
Elec tr i cally Isol ated Pack ag es
Teccor's SCRs are av ailable in a choi ce of nine different devi ce
packages. Four (of the eight) pac kages are offer ed in electrically
isolat ed construc tion where the case or tab i s inter nally isol ated
to all ow the use of low-cost assem bly and c onvenient p ackaging
techniques.
The Teccor line of SCRs featu res gla ss passivat ed device j unc-
tions to ensure long term device reliability and parameter stab il-
ity. Teccor' s glass offe rs a rugged, reliable bar rier against
juncti on contamination.

General Note s
All measurements are made at 60Hz with a resist ive load at an
ambient temperature of +25°C unless ot herwise specified.
Operating temperature range (TJ) is -65°C to +125°C for TO-92
devices and -40°C to +125°C for all other packages.
Storage temperature range (TS) is -65°C to +150°C for TO-92
dev ice s, - 40°C to +150 °C for TO-202 and TO-220 devices, -40°C to
+125°C for all others.
Lead solder temperature is a maximum of 230 °C for 10 seconds
maximum; 1/16" (1.59mm) from ca se.
The case t empera ture (TC) is measured as shown on dimensional
outline drawings. See “Package Dimensions” section of this
catalog.
