General
The subminiatureconnectorsof the SMCserieswith
pitch 1.27 mm are availableinthe standardtype Band
the inverted type Q.
Theseminiatureconnectorsprovide high currentrating
and high dielectric strength.
Anewfemaleconnectorgeneration foreasy and quick
locking of the femaleconnectorswithIDC termination
for ribbon cableshasbeen developped.
Specificforthe newdesign isthe snap--inlocking,
whichlocks intothe maleconnectorswithaclick in.
Abenefitof the newdesign isthe spacesaving compa-
red tothe existing versionswith ejectorlatches.This
meansadditionalspaceforcomponentassemblyonthe
PCB.Thesnap--infemaleconnectorsaremateablewith
the maleconnectors, type Q, withmounting clip.
The mateabilitywiththe maleconnectors, type B,
isin preparation.
