1. SCOPE
1.1. Content
This specificat ion covers performance, t ests and quality requirements for the AMP-LAT CH* Ult ra Novo
fl at cable round conductor connec tor rec eptacles. Receptac le contact s are cr imped to 0.635 mm [.025|in] cent er line ri bbon c able conduc tors (30 AWG sol id and stranded) . Complete assembl ies mate to
0.635 mm [ .025 in] square posts on 2.54 m m [.100 in] c enterli ne with equivalent post lengt h of 5.33 ±|.089 mm [ .210 ± .035 in].|
1.2. Qualification
When tests are performed on the subj ec t product l ine, pr oc edur es specifi ed in Figure 1 shal l be used.
Al l inspections shall be performed using t he applicabl e inspection plan and product drawing.

4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS
4.1. Quali fi c ation Testi ng
A. Sample Selection
Sampl es shall be prepared in accor danc e with appl icable I nstr uc tion S heets and shal l be selected
at random from curr ent producti on. Al l t est gr oups shall consist of minim um of 5 connectors. 10
contac t circuits i n eac h c onnec tor shall be randomly selec ted and i denti fied, c ontact sel ec tion
shall include ends of the connec tor. These contacts shall be used f or all m easurement s unl ess
otherwise specifi ed.
B. T est S equenc e
Quali fi c ation inspection shall be verifi ed by testi ng sampl es as speci fi ed in F igure 2.
4.2. Requalificat ion T esting
If c hanges signifi c antl y affect ing for m, fi t or functi on ar e made to the produc t or manufacturing
process, product assurance shall coordinat e r equali fi c ati on testing, consisting of all or par t of the
ori ginal testing sequence as determi ned by development/product, quali ty and reli ability engineering.

4.3. Acceptance
Acceptance is based on ver ificat ion t hat the pr oduc t m eets the requirements of F igure 1. Fail ur es
att r ibut ed to equi pment , test setup or oper ator deficiencies shall not disqualify the product. When
product fai lure oc c ur s, c or r ec tive ac ti on shal l be tak en and sampl es resubm it ted for quali ficati on.
Testing to c onfi r m cor r ec ti ve ac tion is requi r ed before resubm it tal .
4.4. Quali ty Conformanc e Inspection
The appli c able quality inspection pl an shal l specify t he sampling acc eptabl e quali ty level to be used.|Dimensi onal and functi onal requirement s shall be i n ac c or danc e with the appli c able produc t drawing
