Description
It is a multi-purpose optical transceiver module for 10Gbit/s data transmission applications at 850nm. It is ideally
suited for datacom(belly-to-belly for high density applications) and storage area network(SAN/NAS) applications
based on the IEEE 802.3ae and Fibre Channel standards Designed for short range distances the transceiver
module comprises a transmitter with a vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) and a receiver with a PIN
photodiode. Transmitter and receiver are separate within a wide temperature range of -5°C to +70°C and offers
optimum heat dissipation and excellent electromagnetic shielding thus enabling high port densities for 10GbE
systems.

Digital Diagnostic Memory Map (Compliant with SFF-8077i)
The transceivers provide serial ID memory contents and diagnostic information about the present operating
conditions by the 2-wire serial interface (SCL, SDA).
The diagnostic information with internal calibration or external calibration all are implemented, including received
power monitoring, transmitted power monitoring, bias current monitoring, supply voltage monitoring and
temperature monitoring.
The digital diagnostic memory map specific data field defines as following (For further information, please refer to
SFF-8077i).
